McLaren Vale is a famous red wine region producing some of the best Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon and Grenache in the world. The Adelaide Hills are famous for their whites producing some of the best Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay in the world
Kenwood Cottage is on the boundary of both McLaren Vale and The Adelaide Hills wine regions - in fact we grow both Shiraz and Sauvignon Blanc in the 20 acre vineyard behind the cottage. (refer to Kenwood Cottage blog)

K1 wines (Adelaide Hills Geographical region)
A wonderful spot for a picnic - just 7 kilometers away
some really interesting new varieties - try ther Arneis (pronounced ARNAYS) - a rare Italian variety and the Gruner Veltliner (pronounced GROONER - VELT- LEENER) a gently spicey white variety from Austria

Stunning gardens and part of Australian National Garden Scheme.
